The very first thing to do in September when classes begin is to, if there is any chance you might choose to go to NSCC when you graduate, actually apply to NSCC.
here to apply on line for a program you you think will be a good fit for you.
Simply click on the button above and follow the prompts that follow.
Why Apply?? The most you have to loose is $25xx. This is how you get in the "Q" and lock in your place in line to get in a program.
The majority of NSCC entry selection is based on grade 12 graduation, "first come first serve".
There are one and two year wait lists for some courses (the earlier the better for any and all students who think they might want to go to NSCC)
O2 Students have the advantage of being placed at the front of the line for NSCC seats, but:
O2 students need apply as early as possible in September of their grade 11 year to insure the privilege of preferential seating.
Once 2 students who met their mild stones are placed in their courses of which they are qualified, all other students are placed
Note that there are NSCC classes now being completely filled by O2 students, that there can be actually be a wait list for O2 students if and when there are more O2 students than there are seats available.
Applications are only effective for any student until the $25 fee is received by NSCC.
O2 students must then insure their "in progress" transcripts are sent in by Sept 30 grade 12.
O2Students will have until October of their grade 12 year to change their choice which should give some comfort to those who are not positive of what exactly to take or may want to change their mind.
Confirm NSCC’s admission offer by paying the $200 tuition deposit within 3 weeks of NSCC startup
